Jakarta to Have Two New Squash Fields in 2020

For the sake of supporting sports, two new squash fields will be made in the Koja Sub-district Youth Arena, North Jakarta in 2020. They will have a width of 250 square meters and three arenas.

"Jakarta will have two squash fields at the Koja Youth Arena and Rawamangun Sport Hall (GOR)," said Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency Head, Achmad Firdaus when he attended in Fit & Fun with Squash event at Squash GOR in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta, Saturday (7/27).

His side has prepared a land in East Jakarta and now it still under comparative study stage.

Jakarta Indonesian Squash Unity (PSI) Provincial Management Chairperson, Amalia Chrisna Damayanti positively welcomes this project.

Moreover, in the future, there will be several competitions to be held, one of which is the 2019 Jakarta Squash Open.

"Jakarta squash athletes have just joined the national championship in Bandung and won second place," she concluded.
